Premium Subscribers to PolicyMap can send us their data to load into the tool. This allows you to map your organization's investments, relate them to other data analytics, see how neighborhoods have changed in the places where you've made investments, see where future investments might make sense, and share this information with related parties.

You can begin sending us data once your subscription contract with PolicyMap is complete. We then work with your assigned organizational contact, someone who is familiar with what and how you want your sites mapped.

The next few pages outline the data submission process. Once your data is loaded in PolicyMap, you can make changes or additions to your data once every three months.

Intro: How to send us your data

As a premium subscriber, you can send us your sites for upload into PolicyMap. Sites are places, like buildings, parks, schools, homes, etc. Each site needs an address.

Each row of information that you send us should contain information about one site. This information will appear with one point on the map. (For locations that aren't a series of addresses, contact us to discuss possibilities.)

For average users, we recommend that you send an Excel spreadsheet that includes the required address fields. Advanced users should call us about other file types.

The following steps walk you through the format we recommend for your addresses. Following this format allows us to most accurately location, label, and display your points in PolicyMap. If you have any questions as you read through these directions, please contact us at pmnullap@polnullicymap.com.

This example shows row 4 and row 10 of the Excel spreadsheet each appearing as orange squares in PolicyMap.
