SUMMARY:Data-Driven Grantmaking in Practice: A Conversation Among Peers
DESCRIPTION:Data-Driven Grantmaking in Practice: A Conversation Among Peers\n \nRegister Now \nHealth foundations navigate changing community needs alongside a responsibility to use their resources thoughtfully and effectively. Data and mapping can provide important context for understanding those needs\, informing conversations with boards and organizational leaders\, and guiding decision-making and tracking progress over time. The foundations that manage this well often use tools like PolicyMap to add clarity and context to the work\, helping to understand where needs are concentrated and how progress is unfolding over time. \nJoin PolicyMap for a conversation with two foundations doing exactly that\, in different ways. Dogwood Health Trust will share how mapped data brings community context into board presentations and leadership conversations\, helping ground discussions about needs\, trends\, and the use of resources. Interact for Health will share how it extends that same access to 75 community partners\, equipping local organizations with the data and mapping they need to advance their work across the region. Both rely on custom regions to define the service areas they actually serve\, since those areas often cross state or county lines\, and then report on data specific to that footprint. \nPanelists Meade Inglis-Jenson (Dogwood Health Trust) and Colleen Desmond (Interact for Health) will walk through their approaches in a session moderated by Kristin Crandall of PolicyMap. The session closes with live Q&A. \nRegister Now
