PolicyMap now has Zip Code Tabulation Areas. They’re like regular Zip Codes, except made by the Census instead of the USPS.
ZIP codes are always changing, and PolicyMap continues to reflect the changes.
PolicyMap has taken the Decennial Census and the Census’ American Community Survey data and aggregated them to the zip code level.
ZIP codes were only first introduced in the 1960s with the introduction of new automated address reading machines.
