University Instructors Rely on PolicyMap for Analyzing COVID-19

With university instruction having transitioned online, professors are increasingly relying on online tools that are encourage exploration and are accessible to students. Dr. Casey Bohrman, Assistant Professor of Social Work at West Chester University, engaged PolicyMap to teach about COVID-19-related issues through spatial analysis. By guest lecturing for her online class, we helped Dr. Bohrman’s students to make their own maps to understand the risks and effects of the pandemic at the local level.

To aid university faculty and librarians during COVID-19, PolicyMap is providing full access to university libraries through June 30th. Contact us to learn more.

Based on an ongoing survey of First Book members, this map shows educators and organizations that are looking for books and other resources to provide to children so that they can continue their education from home.
