Description:
Data Axle provides locations and characteristics of a wide range of businesses, both large and small. PolicyMap licenses data on pharmacies, and presents the locations, addresses, store status, and information on a parent chain, such as CVS or Walgreeens if the pharmacy is part of a chain. Pharmacies are labeled as “Closed” if a location existed in DataAxle’s pharmacy data from August, 2024, and no longer exist in either the May 2025 or August 2025 data updates. This label is an assumption by PolicyMap to help users identify where pharmacy locations used to exist, and may not be inclusive of all closed pharmacies.
