The City of Philadelphia wanted to create a tool that would allow citizens, city officials, local businesses, real estate developers, and funders to visualize all of Philadelphia’s arts and cultural assets.
Solution
PolicyMap created CultureBlocks, allowing users to explore Philadelphia’s cultural resources, download cultural and demographic profiles of neighborhoods, and identify locations that match multiple specific criteria. With the CultureBlocks website, the City of Philadelphia was been able to engage citizens and organizations in exploring and supporting the city’s creative sector.
