PolicyMap Participates in Inaugural OFN / Citi Leadership Program!

PolicyMap data team member, Kristin Crandall, was excited to participate in the Citi Leadership Program for Opportunity Finance this past week. Held in Philadelphia, the training brought together 50 emerging leaders, mid-career managers, and executive leaders from the Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) industry across the country. Developed by CDFIs for CDFIs, the program “supports talent that can lead transformational change, ensures strong leadership at all levels of the industry, and promotes leaders that represent the diverse communities that CDFIs serve.”

In addition to providing participants with a rich history of the CDFI industry and a chance to network with other participants, leadership training was provided by the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business Leadership Program on topics such as decision-making, transactional versus transformational leadership, and the role of values in leadership. The Leadership Program will convene again in April, June, and October of this year.
